#PublicPost - Digital Literacy Campaign for women

Most of us now use smart phones and have the latest gadgets assembled in our homes. But very few ladies are well versed with the complete functions of a smart phone, hence they only use it for incoming and outgoing calls, and now a days apps like WhatsApp.
While they could be utilizing it for many purposes like booking their own travel tickets, surfing the internet to learn and explore, marketing advertising their business/hobbies, or even for knowledge and awareness.
They must know how to operate a smart phone, a tablet, a computer/laptop or any other smart device they find around themselves.
Having a digital literacy campaign for women is the need of the hour to help them become independent.

#PublicPost - Spoken English Camp for ladies

It's holiday time and even though many of us are well versed in English, there are a lot of moms who aren't very comfortable in speaking in English.
How about a summer camp for all the ladies in Spoken English so that they can at least  converse with the teachers in their wards school, and other occasions whenever and wherever needed.

#PublicPost - Presunset dinner in all JITO functions

Being jain, we must follow the rule of ahimsa and to follow this we must try not to have late night dinners. We should arrange for pre sunset  dinner for any of our programs, even the program which is to be held on March 31 and April 1.
Any of the jito chapters may not have done it, we might not have presunset dinner in our daily routine. But atleast in huge gathering we can keep this type and there by maintain ahimsa of crores of living beings.
By This we can also set an example to other jito chapters.
It's my hearty request to all the board members of jito Vijayawada chapter to keep presunset dinner for all our functions.

#PublicPost - Career Guidance Session

Planning a career is very important so a little assistance would be of great help. Right decision at the right time is they key to success. To make things simple, we believe that an expert in the field is required to guide the students regarding their career prospects and higher studies especially for the students of 10th, 11th and 12th standard.
This is the time when all the students clear their final exams and are planning for their higher studies. We can arrange a career guidance program for them in the upcoming month and help them make the right career choice.

#PublicPost - Are we really Jains?

Being a Jain, the first thing to know is who am I? What is the purpose of living and what is dharm? If everyone is recognized by the name, why is it referred to as BODY when dead? Just running to the temple and doing pratikaman or kriya is understood as dharm now a days, which is not.
We can spread awareness and take the baby steps towards being a true jain by doing the following activities:
1) So, we need a session on this basic question,'who am I and what is being a Jain?'
2) We are busy doing dharm while the Jain families in Vijayawada are striving and struggling hard for day to day life. We can help them.
3) Now a days, there is a good collection of funds in ashrams and at the same time, there are many old beggars on the streets and roads of Vijayawada who have no idea about the existence of these ashrams. We can help them rehabilitate in these ashrams. Most of us would not help those on the streets, but we prefer donating directly to the ashrams. By rehabilitating the street beggars, we will be effectively helping the ashrams utilize their funds as well.
